We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Baker to join our dynamic bakery team. The ideal candidate will have extensive baking experience, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of bakery operations. As the Head Baker, you will be responsible for managing the bakery's daily operations, ensuring the highest quality of baked goods, and leading a team of bakers. Your role will involve developing new recipes, maintaining consistency in product quality, and ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. In this role, you will collaborate closely with management to plan production schedules, manage inventory, and control costs. You will be expected to train and mentor bakery staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Your creativity and innovation will be essential in developing new products and improving existing recipes to meet customer preferences and market trends. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining equipment, ensuring cleanliness and organization within the bakery, and addressing any operational issues promptly.
The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will interact regularly with team members, suppliers, and management to coordinate bakery operations efficiently. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily bakery operations and ensure smooth workflow.
- Develop and implement new recipes and bakery products.
- Maintain high standards of product quality, taste, and presentation.
- Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling costs.
- Train, mentor, and supervise bakery staff.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bakery equipment and workspace.
- Collaborate with management to plan production schedules and meet business goals.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a baker, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to develop and innovate bakery products and recipes.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Compensation
- $56,500-$60,000/annually
